Christmas is a great time to enjoy the things that make us happy-gatherings, food, traditions and gifts. At the Rescue Mission, I enjoy seeing the happiness of those who have committed to receive a hand up and not just a hand out. They experience happiness in good food, a safe place to live, going to work and school, and knowing that you have personally contributed to help make it all possible.

But my greatest joy in leading is that so many who enter a Rescue Mission ministry receive the eternal gift of a relationship with Jesus Christ. They now can experience the JOY, LOVE AND PEACE that endures no matter the season or circumstance. Relationship with Jesus is their ultimate hand up. And they know it is the greatest gift they can receive.
