I shared with you recently about the success of our sixth annual Christmas in July event which brought holiday cheer to Orange County Rescue Mission, and is an early reminder of the joy surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community partners, and is a wonderful way for the community to come together to care for the Least, the Last, and the Lost through volunteer service and donations.

One of our community partners is Peter Brakke, owner of Chick-Fil-A in the Tustin District. For several years now he has taken the lead on this event, and it has become a great opportunity for partnership between OCRM and Chick-Fil-A. I personally am blessed by Peter’s friendship,  and I am so grateful for his faithful support of the Rescue Mission.
