One of my favorite events Orange County Rescue Mission holds each year is the Turkey Trot OC 5k. This special event is held each year on Thanksgiving morning with the goal of raising enough support to provide 30,000 meals for the hungry and homeless of Orange County. Not only is it a great way to bring the family together before devouring a plate full of turkey and stuffing, but it also helps to provide a warm and delicious meal for those who would normally go hungry this holiday season.
