Summer is flying by and our rooms continue to be filled with families and children.

With your help, we have been able to create memorable and meaningful summer experiences for our children of all ages at the Rescue Mission. The time between school can be draining for both parents and children when there aren’t many opportunities to fill those free time frames with productive activities, but thanks to your donations and volunteered time, our kids have been able to stay occupied and productive!

However, it was recently brought to our attention that several of our kids, many of them new, have little to no presentable clothing for school. And with school start dates right around the corner, our hope is not only that these kids would be excited and motivated to excel in the classroom, but also to send them back dressed for success.
It’s hard to be excited to return to a school environment when you are dressed in worn out clothes and shoes. Many of our kids are in great need for new clothes, so we took an inventory of the greatest needs.

If you and your family or friends would like to play a pivotal role in the success of a child’s education, we will get them enrolled, transported, fed and tutored, but we need help providing these boys and girls with their clothing needs.
