Elks Lodge's Annual Party in the Park

Growing up, my kids always enjoyed community events at our local park! What better way to bring a community together than a carnival or movie night or barbecue in the park? Our residents often do not have memories of joyful community events because they did not live in stable or safe environments. But thanks to our friends at the Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge, each year our residents are given a chance to finally share in that experience!
This year marks the 3rd annual Party in the Park, a carnival held in the courtyard of our Village of Hope campus, complete with games, a bounce house, cotton candy, snow cones, hot dogs and hamburgers, and even a puppy petting zoo! The gracious volunteers of Elks Lodge provided not only a day of fun for children and families of the Mission, but also donated school supplies and basic items our children need for the upcoming school year.
We are so grateful to the Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge for their continued partnership and generosity as they bless the Rescue Mission each year with this wonderful event!
