Each month we like to highlight an employee who exemplifies the mission, philosophy, and values of our organization. This month we are delighted to highlight Priscilla Bermudez as our Employee of the Month.

Priscilla faithfully serves on our accounting team and although her work is more behind the scenes, we could not accomplish the work we strive to do without the dedication of Priscilla to our team. It is a honor to serve alongside of you Priscilla!

Where did you grow up?  Orange, CA

Hobbies:  Reading, going to the movies, getting the whole family together to play sports

How long have you been at the mission:  2 years

How did you hear about the job opportunity at the mission: Online

What do you love most about your job:  My co-workers. I have never worked in an environment so loving to Jesus and others. It really makes coming to work every day a blessing. To see the lives of the people here transformed after all they have been through or to call an applicant and tell them they have been accepted into the housing program and hearing their cries of joy on the phone says it all.

How have you grown since coming to the mission:  Our mission, philosophy and values play in my head every day. When you are surrounded by such amazing people how can you not strive for excellence and growth spiritually? It makes me appreciate everything that I have ever been through in life, good or bad, because without those times I would not be here today.
