Last month, Orange County Business Journal hosted a Women in Business awards gala to recognize the incredible and successful women in business in the Orange County community. I am pleased that our own Chief Development Officer, Anna Song, was among the nominees for this great honor!
Anna Song joined Orange County Rescue Mission as a Development Manager for the teen shelter, Laurel House, in 2014. Within two years, she was promoted to Director of Development for the Rescue Mission. Since that time, she has effectively rebuilt a robust Development department with a commitment to high performance and cohesive team dynamics. Within her first six months as Director, she secured a six-figure gift from a new donor. Song has successfully launched a new major donor gifts program, two collaborative golf tournaments, and a now completed two-year capital campaign for a teen boys shelter. Her greatest joy and accomplishment, though, is being able to be a small part of how lives are being restored and transformed from brokenness and homelessness to wholeness and self-sufficiency through the work of Orange County Rescue Mission.
Anna has made, and continues to make, an incredible impact here at Orange County Rescue Mission, and I am pleased to announce that she was again recently promoted to Chief Development Officer! I am grateful to have Anna Song, such an extraordinary and successful businesswoman and Development Officer, on our team!
