Orange County Rescue Mission is an organization blessed with passionate employees who each have an important role in carrying out our mission. But one of our most recent additions to the organization, Melissa Trahan, is unique because her path to joining us started as a City of Tustin police officer. When I first met Melissa, she was serving the homeless by bringing them off of the streets of Tustin and to Orange County Rescue Mission. And now, she serves homeless survivors of human trafficking in Strong Beginnings, without a badge, but with her same passion to help others.
