God's Not Dead

How far would you go…to defend your belief in God?

God is not dead Having recently screened this moving film, I felt compelled to share about its message. God’s Not Dead weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The film educates, entertains, and inspires us to explore what we really believe about God. This ignites important conversations and life-changing decisions. Rice Broocks, the author of God’s Not Dead, the book, describes the film as providing reasons to believe and confidence to take a stand for Christ in an increasingly secular society. I could not agree more.
People of faith need to be challenged to develop an authentic belief in the theology that they claim in order to better live and convey the life that Christianity calls us to.
In his book, Rice Broocks outlines a roadmap that guides seekers to acknowledge the most basic truths of Christianity:

  • There is overwhelming and exciting evidence for God’s existence.
  • The God who exists is indeed the God of the Bible.
  • God has revealed his nature through his Son, Jesus Christ.

Persuasive arguments crafted with tools borrowed from logic, science, and philosophy, as well as scripture, solidify the faith of the Christian reader and provide starting points for discussions with skeptics. With clear, easy-to-follow explanations of key concepts and controversies, God’s Not Dead is apologetics for the twenty-first century, presented in layman’s terms. Readers will be empowered not only to talk about their own faith with confidence but to lead others to a relationship with Jesus.
