Gathering together for a meal is a meaningful activity in the Christian life. Throughout scripture, we read of Jesus sitting at the table with His disciples sharing a meal together, and how the disciples met together daily, as “they ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”

As I gather around the table with my family this Thanksgiving, I am reminded of two important truths. First, that Jesus Christ truly satisfies more than any meal ever could; a truth that inspires great thankfulness in my heart. And second, that there are people in our community who do not have a table to gather around, or a family to gather with, or most importantly, the knowledge of the all-sufficient Savior.

You bring this hope of an all-sufficient Savior, Jesus Christ, to others through your faithful support and prayers. I am so grateful to you. May God continue to satisfy you through the abundance that is found in Jesus Christ.
