I want to acknowledge and thank Team Depot (#0171 and #6965) and their leaders Glenn Easterbrook, Lori Turman, Kade Kasner and Keith Allen, for their help in renovating Tustin Veterans Outpost. Team Depot is The Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer force—an amazing group of Home Depot associates who are enthusiastic and community-minded. A special thanks to Glenn, who has spent so many hours on this project.

This week Team Depot planted drought-tolerant trees and greenery and spread mulch. Home Depot funded the event with the purchases needed for the landscaping.
In addition, I thank the Home Depot Foundation, which granted a large sum of money for renovation of the complex, for the purchase of new windows, doors, fencing and other hard construction items.
Tustin Veterans Outpost will soon be open, thanks to the many corporate, civic and individual donors that have all done their part to build transitional housing for homeless veterans.
Show your support of veterans by giving to Orange County Rescue Mission’s Tustin Veterans Outpost. Click here to donate or learn more.
