Surprisingly, Orange County has the 6th largest veteran population in the United States and unfortunately, 4,500 of those Veterans are on waiting lists for affordable housing in Orange County.
Fortunately, the Rescue Mission is doing something about that and I want to especially thank the City of Tustin for moving so swiftly with us to take action.
It is unacceptable to find any of these men and women that have served our country on the streets or homeless.
