I had the opportunity to meet J.J. Hudson through our shared affiliation with the Vistage CEO group where we connected through the shared vision of a social enterprise venture with the Grilled Cheese Truck  project.
With the support of J.J.’s company Cal-Tape & Label Co. we are working to provide jobs for homeless veterans by providing capable workers with employment on the food trucks.
J.J. has faithfully dedicated a portion of his business’ proceeds specifically to our initiative to serve homeless veterans at the Rescue Mission. He says, “I believe in giving back to the local Community and I can’t think of a better cause then to help the men and women who protect our very freedom on a daily basis.”
I am thrilled as our Veteran Initiative continues to gain momentum in moving forward with the assistance and partnership of good friends of the mission like J.J. Hudson and his company Cal-Tape & Label Co.
We have our eyes on the future as we continue to work together to keep veterans off the streets and assist in their transitions back home and into healthy homes and jobs.
