Police Officer By Day, Pageant Star By Night

Police Officer By Day, Pageant Star By Night

by | May 9, 2019

Not only is Steve Giddings a Tustin Police Officer and Laurel House house parent alongside his incredible wife, Donna, but now he can also add ‘Pageant Contestant’ to his long list of accolades!

Last October, Steve laid it all on the line and gave the performance of his life at the annual Mr. Tustin pageant, a fundraiser for local charities and the Miss Tustin scholarship fund.  As Steve will tell you himself, he has no problem embarrassing himself to raise money for others.

His humor is one of his best qualities and this was displayed so clearly throughout his pageant performance, especially as he dressed up as Uncle Sam to give a spoken word rendition of the Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” for his talent act.

I am so grateful for a friend like Steve who gives his all to care for and serve others, whether by day as a Tustin PD officer, by night as a house parent, and even a pageant contestant to fundraise for a worthy cause.  Take a look at this Behind the Badge article for more insight into Steve’s stunning (and hilarious) pageant performance.
