Throughout the process of opening Tustin Veterans Outpost, I have been building relationships with community members, organizations, and companies. It is inspiring to see individuals and groups from various places and industries come together to support a common goal.
As we began this project, one thing was very clear. The apartments were quite dated and worn, and a renovation was necessary to bring them up to the quality and standard we desired for the veterans. Many companies, groups, and individuals stepped up to help us accomplish this massive task.

One such company I would like to recognize is Arizona Tile.

This company generously provided the material for the counters and backsplashes in the kitchens, and the shower tiles in the bathrooms. These details took the units to the next level, not only updating the outdated apartments, but making them a beautiful environment for these veterans to call home.

Tustin Veterans Outpost is a program of Orange County Rescue Mission, serving homeless veterans and their families. We provide a hand up with transitional housing, case management and pastoral care specific to the needs of veterans, empowering them to be restored and transition to a healthy civilian living.
