What a joyful season it is here at Orange County Rescue Mission! Last week, our friends at Bank of America generously donated a $15,000 grant for meals for our residents! Through their generosity, we are able to provide 10,135 meals to formerly homeless families and individuals!
A very special thanks to Bank of America for this amazing gift which is already at work in the lives of those in need. I would also like to recognize Shari Battle, SVP Market Manager, and Michael Wagschal, Senior Vice President and Institutional Sales Director, for visiting our Village of Hope campus to personally deliver the grant. This gift is a blessing to our residents, who are now able to enjoy warm meals in a safe and comfortable environment, as they strive to become self-sufficient.
We are so blessed by the generosity of our corporate community partners and thankful for all of those who help us in our mission to care for and empower the Least, Last, and Lost of our community.
