At a recent HomeAid event, Michael Battaglia, a longtime friend of mine, won a Wienerschnitzel catering opportunity for 200 people. Rather than using it for himself, Michael remembered the homeless men, women, and children who live at the Village of Hope.
So, Michael and his family graciously decided to donate those delicious Wienerschnitzel meals to all of our students at the Rescue Mission. With so much happening in our country, this was the perfect treat to start the weekend.
Thank you, Michael and the Battaglia family, for donating the “Weenie Wagon” to our Village of Hope community. We appreciate you filling our stomachs with tasty hotdogs and corndogs, and warming our hearts with your thoughtfulness and generosity!
