A diverse and long-term funder, The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of Boeing California has continued to generously grant funds to the Orange County Rescue Mission to support our cause.
The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of Boeing California is an employee-owned and operated nonprofit organization. The Employees Community Fund of Boeing California combines the assets of the former Douglas Aircraft Welfare Foundation and the contributions of Boeing employees made through payroll deductions to support charitable organizations in areas where contributors live and work.
I want to extend a huge thank you to The Employees Community Fund for their most recent gift of $7,500 to the services of the Village of Hope. These funds will provide shelter, meals, and daily workshops that guide all clients through the Village of Hope curriculum with the help of counselors and case managers.
As early as 2000, The Employees Community Fund has generously and consistently supported the Rescue Mission’s House of Hope and Strong Beginnings Programs throughout the years. These programs serve single mom’s recovering from domestic abuse and families residing in motels and in need of support. The Employees Community Fund has also provided for the Orange County Rescue Mission’s children’s mental health program, construction projects and our overall general operating needs. This type of funding is essential to our dynamic program that serves men, women and children across all of our campuses.
I cannot thank The Employees Community Fund of Boeing California enough for contributing to make the Orange County Rescue Mission possible. Because of generous grant funding like this, we are able to see the least, the last and the lost of Orange County come off the streets and make incredible turn-arounds into purposeful jobs and restored lives. I look forward to what our partnership will produce in the years to come!
