Jeffrey Larson at Double R Ranch

I hope that you are having a great Monday.  I would like to share with you a letter I received from Jeffrey Larson who is a student at Double R Ranch campus.
By Jeffery Larson
From where I came from when I first got to the Ranch, I have a different outlook on life.  I feel different.  I have joy in my life for the first time ever.  I am sober and in great health.  I appreciate everything I have now.  I appreciate everything that comes into my life.  I don’t take anything for granted.  My appreciation all around has grown.
My faith and belief in God has grown more than ever.  God now is the center of my life.  I’m living now to do His will. I know now that is the best thing for me.  I’ve grown mentally, physically and spiritually.  I’ve never in my life had God the center.  And now I can thank God for that.  My Faith in God has never been as big as it is now and will only continue to grow as I go forth.
I’m looking forward to the future, and forgetting the past.  I’m looking forward and am excited for what God has ahead for me in my new life, my new body in Christ.  The old man is dead and the new man is larger than ever in all aspects.
Where am I going in my new life?  Honestly, only God knows.  Where I’d like to go is where God wants me to go.  I pray that God lines me up at the Village of Hope to start my next phase of my program.  I pray God gives me a job that lines up with His will.  I would like transportation to get to my new job.  I pray that God sets me up someday with a wife.  I also pray that God sets me up to meet with my Dad face-to-face.  I would love to be around my brother and my father when I have free time.  So I pray that God send me to my next phase in my life, so I can be back on my feet and get my life back together and visit with my family and friends.
I also can’t wait to get back to my church and go to church with my friends.  So I pray that God allows me to get closer to all those goals.  And I have faith He will and I KNOW He will.
Thank you, Lord!
